Sun, cocktails and Peeps at the Going Out Guide happy hour

Happy hour crowds enjoy the late-day sun at Whitlow's on Wilson. (Fritz Hahn - The Washington Post) We really couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day for our happy hour on Whitlow’s on Wilson’s new rooftop deck. Judging by the number of sundresses, shorts and flip-flops we saw last night, you all are as ready for summer as we are, and the tiki-inspired outdoor bar was the perfect setting.

Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy the sun, the winning Peeps dioramas, the food and the cheap drinks. (Seriously, those Miller Lite-and-orange juice Double Wide “mimosas” were better than anyone thought.)
