The lineup for the Sweetlife Festival on April 28 looks a lot more complete now. Almost a dozen acts have been added to the “Treehouse Stage,” including up-and-coming indie bands Twin Shadow and Zola Jesus and local favorites U.S. Royalty and Bluebrain .

In its second year at Merriweather Post Pavilion, the festival now features nearly 20 acts, including electro-superstar Avicii, Kid Cudi and the Shins , which were announced as headliners earlier this month.

Rounding out the bill on the second stage are back-to-basics rockers Delta Spirit, electro-upstarts the Knocks, Cut Copy bassist Ben Browning, RAC (Remix Artist Collective), L.A. sister act Haim, Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna and LP, who sings that “Somebody left the gate open!” song from that Citibank commercial that is on TV all the time and it really drives you insane and you think, that’s it, I’m just going to watch stuff on DVR now so I can fast forward through commercials because...

Sorry. Where was I? Right, the Sweetlife Festival. It’s a food and music festival, and there will be plenty of options in addition to Sweetgreen salads. Toki Underground, Baked + Wired, the Big Cheese, Pepe, Shake Shack, Dolcezza and dozens more will offer their eats on the Merriweather grounds.

These new additions make the price increase from last year’s $55 to this year’s $75 look more reasonable now. And U.S. Royalty continues its perfect Sweetlife attendance record, three years running.
