After movie studios withheld box office numbers over the weekend out of respect for the victims of the Aurora, Colo. theater shooting, financial figures are finally in.

“The Dark Knight Rises,” the final installment of director Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, pulled in $160.9 million in its opening weekend, making it the third-best tally of all time.

The figure is slightly higher than the $158 million earned opening weekend by the film’s predecessor, 2008’s “The Dark Knight,” but shy of the figure posted earlier this year by “The Avengers”($207 million) and in 2011 by “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” ($169 million).

Here are the week’s top ten movies at the box office:

1. “The Dark Knight Rises,” $160.9 million

2. “Ice Age: Continental Drift,” $20.4 million

3. “The Amazing Spider-Man,” $10.9 million

4. “Ted,” $10 million

5. “Brave,” $6 million

6. “Magic Mike,” $4.3 million

7. “Savages,” $3.4 million

8. “Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection,” $2.3 million

9. “Moonrise Kingdom,” $1.8 million

10. “To Rome With Love,” $1.4 million
