Think spring: Cherry blossoms aren’t far away

What a great day to think spring: The National Park Service today announced the best days to see the Tidal Basin’s cherry trees in full bloom — March 24-31. That’s near the beginning of the National Cherry Blossom Festival, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the gift of the trees with an extra-long roster of events this year.
