In today’s Food section, Tom Sietsema (who was recently listed as the fourth most popular food critic on Twitter) paid his first visit to Fabio Trabocchi’s new Penn Quarter restaurant, Fiola. He found smooth service and short ribs so tender they could be cut with a spoon.

•Tim Carman checked out the Sol Mexican Grill truck, where he found tasty, if “gringo-fied,” tacos.

•Suzanne Snider profiled 82-year-old Bob Moore, founder of Bob’s Red Mill Natural Products.

•Jason Wilson takes an in-depth look at the lowly rum and coke.

•Dave McIntyre reveals the world of New Zealand red wines.

For more food and drinks discussion, drop into Tom Sietsema’s live chat today at 11 a.m., and join the Food section staff immediately after for the Free Range on Food conversation at noon.
