Carla Hall, the local “Top Chef” favorite, is joining the cast of “the Chew,” a soon-to-launch, food-focused daytime talk show. In today’s Food section, Tim Carman looks at how Hall ended up on camera alongside names like Mario Batali and Michael Symon, and what the new career means for her, aside from living in New York five days a week.
