Where to watch the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games

Have a pint of ale and a plate of fish ‘n’ chips while watching the Olympic Games on Friday and you’ll feel as English as David Beckham. (AP Photo/Alastair Grant)
Looking for a place to watch the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics on Friday? Whether you’d enjoy a torch-relay-inspired bar crawl down H Street NE, a Team USA party with a free drink for wearing red white and blue, or just cheap beer and plenty of televisions, there’s a party out there for you. (If you’d rather drink beer without watching the games, there’s a bar for that, too.)

Check out our list of the best Olympics viewing parties; we’ll be adding to it as the games go on.
