WSC Avant Bard is looking for a few good Klingons.
The theater company is readying for its second one-night-only “Shakespeare in Klingon” show on March 4 at Artisphere, and it
announced today that it’s recruiting as many as four Klingons from the general Klingon public to be extras in the show.
Here’s the best part: If you’re interested, you’ll have to arrive in Dupont Circle between 1 and 3 p.m. next Saturday (Feb. 25), in full costume — awkward for you, but awesome for those of us who’ve always wanted to be a fly on the wall at a “Star Trek” convention.
At 3 p.m. that day, the theater will pick a few lucky folks to be extras in the play, “Shakespeare in Klingon II: The Wrath of (Michael) Kahn,” which sounds like reward enough, but the winners will also get passes to the after party...with Marc Okrand, the creator of the Klingon language.
