Earlier today, I ventured that the easiest way to eat like a Canadian in D.C. is an order of ChurchKey‘s Disco Fries. Disco Fries are a close cousin to poutine, the cheese curd-and-gravy-topped Quebecois delight most think of as Canada’s national dish. But since the Eat Wonky food truck retired, the genuine article has been harder to find.
Turns out, I haven’t been looking hard enough, because we’re simply awash in poutine as readers were quick to offer suggestions. If you’ve had a secret longing for some french fries, gravy and squeaky cheese, here’s where to find it. Don’t see your favorite poutinerie? Inform the comments section, s’il vous plait!
@goingoutguide Mokomandy in Sterling is the last place I had it. Poutine potato chips at A&D?
