After two long years, the ramen restaurant at Daikaya is finally opening Thursday night at  705 Sixth St. NW in Chinatown.

Before the ground level opens to diners at 5 p.m. (a date hasn’t been announced for the izakaya upstairs), here’s a quick look at the touches inside, including an open kitchen where diners can watch their noodles being cooked and assembled. The 40-seat space  will serve four kinds of ramen — miso, shio (salt), shoyu (soy) and vegan.
