It seems like we’ve been waiting forever for Impala Cantina — formerly Tacos Impala — to open, though they’ve been popping up at the H Street Festival and on Tuesday nights at the Pug. It seems like they’re getting closer: Toki Underground is hosting a four-course preview of the Impala menu on Sunday night. (Impala owner Troy Hickman is a partner at Toki.)
Space is limited — 20 seats from 5 to 7 p.m. and 20 more from 7 to 9 p.m. — and the $40 ticket, available on Eventbrite, includes food and tequila pairings. We suggest snapping yours up now, because they’re already going fast.
