Postal Service tickets on sale Friday; Animal Collective adds second 9:30 Club show

March 7, 2013

If you're making summer concert plans, now is the time to grab tickets.

The Postal Service is touring (with Jenny Lewis!) through Merriweather Post Pavilion on June 18 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of "Give Up," the band's platinum-selling first (and only) album. The band's live performances are rare, so these tickets won't last. The presale began yesterday, but general tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. Seats under the pavilion cost $45, and lawn seats are $35.

As previously announced, Morrissey is playing the National Theatre on April 5. Tickets to mope with Moz in person also go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Jiffy Lube Live tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster tomorrow at 10 a.m. The live music behemoth is offering a slew of price points to see country star Brad Paisley on June 29, light rockers Train on July 12 and Southern heroes Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bad Company on July 14.

Tickets to see much-beloved sonic explorers Animal Collective at 9:30 Club also went on sale this week, and while tickets to the June 10 show are already sold out, a second show on June 11 has been added. Tickets are still available at $25 through Ticketfly.
