A happy hour to benefit Boston Marathon victims

April 22, 2013

Runners will show support for victims of the Boston Marathon bombing by running 4.09 miles through D.C. this evening. If you'd like to help without lacing up your sneakers, the Massachusetts Society of Washington D.C. is hosting a fundraising happy hour at Hamilton's tonight. From 6 to 10 p.m., pay $20 $10 for bottomless Sam Adams Summer Ale and Angry Orchard cider -- both of which are made by the Boston Beer Company. Half of all proceeds will go to the One Fund, which was created to provide financial support for victims of the bombing.

There will also be a raffle with items from Massachusetts and Washington, such as tickets to see the "JFK" exhibit at the Newseum, Nationals tickets and a Dunkin' Donuts gift certificate, with all proceeds destined for the One Fund.
