Here’s how to attend Michelle Obama’s book signing at Politics and Prose

Next week, Michelle Obama will become the first sitting first lady to do a signing at Politics & Prose. If you want to be there on May 7, here's the process you need to follow:

1) Obtain a wristband from Politics & Prose, to be distributed Thursday at 9 a.m. One (one!) per person.

2) If you're lucky enough to receive a wristband, you'll need to fill out a security screening form in person.

3) If you make it this far and want a memento -- say, a signed copy of the first lady's book, "American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America" -- bring one copy of the book, or buy one from the store. Important: No other books or mementos can be brought to the signing.
