It's the laziest week of summer: It seems like half of Washington is on vacation, and the tourists have all gone home. And for those of us left behind, there is quiet -- glorious quiet. Shorter waits for a drink at a bar, or a table at a restaurant. Child-free museum visits. Less crowded Metro cars. Its pleasures are fleeting; soon enough, Washington will get back to being Washington.
Tell us: How are you enjoying this blissful week? Have you noticed anything that's been easier to see or do?
