RedRocks pizzeria will open the doors to its second D.C. location on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 1348 H Street NE, where it will become one of the biggest restaurants in the Atlas District.

The three-story restaurant is a 6,800-square-foot space with three bars and a rooftop patio with a retractable roof, in a building that has been vacant since the 1968 riots. Favorites from the Columbia Heights RedRocks menu are sticking around, but there have been some additions: homemade squid ink and spinach pastas, grilled tenderloin and suckling pig, among others. If you're around for lunch, RedRocks promises a fast-casual experience, with pizzas ready in two minutes flat.

At the bar, you'll find 20 draft lines for local beers, cider, prosecco and wine. They're keeping the bottomless bloody marys and mimosas for brunch, too. For the opening this week, expect drink specials and giveaways every night, and a DJ spinning dance music on Friday and Saturday.

RedRocks also has two Virginia locations in Old Town and Arlington.
