Bid summer farewell with an end-of-season crab feast

September 19, 2013

There's a nip in the morning air, and a harvest moon hung over the city's skyline. Summer is saying its final farewell, and with it, blue crab season is coming to a close. Give both seasons a proper sendoff with a final crab feast on Sept. 29 at Addie's in Rockville.

You'll get all-you-can-eat steamed Maryland blue crab and spit-roasted pig, as well as smoked chicken, boiled corn and potatoes, tomato and cucumber salad, and creamy coleslaw. As you crack open some of the last crabs of the season, you can wash them down with Dogfish Head beers to the tune of live music. It's $58.30 per person, with seatings from noon to 2 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. Buy your tickets here.
