Breaking Bad at the bar: Where to watch the finale in D.C.

September 26, 2013

Order your whisky neat -- preferably, Dimple Pinch -- if you're planning on heading out for the "Breaking Bad" finale this weekend. On Sunday, when fans will finally find out if their theories about Walt, Jesse and the neo-Nazis come to fruition, local bars are all too happy to whet their whistles with drink specials and viewing parties for "Felina," the final episode of the series. Here are a few bars that will be tuned in.

Duffy's Irish Pub: The U Street bar will be showing the finale, not football. "Sound will be up loud plus subtitles so you don't miss anything," says the Facebook notice of the event. For drink specials, you can get $20 pitchers of Loose Cannon IPA and $16 buckets of Miller Lite or Coors Light. The kitchen will be open until 11 p.m.

Nanny O'Brien's: This Cleveland park bar has been showing the entire final season, with food and drink specials for viewers. On Sunday, they're offering $5.50 Blue "Meth 'ritas" from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., and half-price burgers until 10.

Jack Rose: The finale will start right after the Redskins game at this Adams Morgan bar. Specials include a promotion for Whistle Pig ($8 pours of a 10-year rye) and a fall-inspired $5 "Last Dance with Walter White" cocktail.

Angles: The Adams Morgan bar will be playing the finale on all of its TVs.

Know of any other bars hosting watch parties? Let us know, and we'll add 'em to the list.
