Marjorie Meek-Bradley's Roofers Union is the new restaurant coming in late January to the Adams Morgan space vacated by the Reef. If you're eager to try it, make a reservation at Meek-Bradley's Ripple in Cleveland Park on Jan. 22 or 23, when Meek-Bradley will preview the new menu with a three-course tryout.
The pop-up menu, which will be served alongside Ripple's regular fare, will include a choice of snack, entree and dessert. Expect dishes such as trotter arancini, an andouille corndog with whiz and a pretzel hot fudge sundae, along with a 3 Stars beer for $25. Make a reservation at 202-244-7995.
Meek-Bradley, formerly chef de cuisine at Graffiato, was nominated for Rising Culinary Star of the Year at the 2013 RAMMY Awards, and was recently featured in The Post Food section's list of nine millennials influencing the D.C. food scene. Ripple earned two and a half stars from Tom Sietsema in the 2013 Fall Dining Guide.
