MONDAY (CANCELED)
Clarendon-Courthouse Mardi Gras parade
This annual parade, originally planned for March 4, was rescheduled for Monday due to snow. Well guess what? It snowed again, and the rescheduled parade has been canceled too. Mother Nature doesn't like Mardi Gras, apparently.

TUESDAY
Environmental Film Festival

For the 22nd year, eco-activism and cinema collide as venues across the District host screenings of 200 environmentally conscious films. The series kicks off today at 10 a.m. with animated films for children, including "Blackout," "Cloudette" and "Bear Has a Story to Tell." Additional screenings include “Chasing Rhinos With Billy Bush” and  “Your Inner Fish." The festival continues through March 30.
Various locations and screening times. (Note: Not all screenings are free.) 202-342-2564. www.dcenvironmentalfilmfest.org.
