Interns: Don’t use a fake ID at Town Hall

As intern season gets underway, Glover Park's Town Hall is offering a timely reminder to anyone thinking about trying to use a fake ID: It's going to be confiscated. Today, Town Hall posted on its Instagram a map of the 48 contiguous states made out of fake IDs, though owner Paul Holder admitted, "We had to fill in some of the Western states using IDs from Pennsylvania."

Holder wouldn't say how many fakes the bar's bouncers captured last summer, but did admit that he heard every story in the book the next day when license owners tried to get them back: "My friend took it." "I didn't know my sister took it." "I dropped it on the floor and someone else picked it up and used it."

"We're trying to have a little fun with our Instagram account," Holder said, "but we're also offering fair warning [to anyone using a fake ID]."
