It’s Restaurant Week, again

If you haven’t yet been to Elisir, Enzo Fargione’s young modern Italian restaurant, restaurant week is an economical way to try it.(By Stacy Zarin-Goldberg For the Washington Post)
It’s a really big week for the Washington-area dining scene.

Also, Restaurant Week is happening.

You might be able to tell where our interest lies, and I heartily recommend you follow that first link to read all Fritz’s picks for D.C. Beer Week.

Of course, while you are out on the town you can always take advantage of the other big promotion going on. A lot of digital ink has been spilled on how to do restaurant week right, and as we don’t want to take too much time away from your Beer Week planning, here is a summary:

- Try lunch.

- Go someplace new.

- Avoid small plates.

- Check restaurant Web sites for menus.

- Take advantage of extensions.
