Mayoral candidate won’t go to strip clubs – anymore

September 13, 2013

Three dozen candidates are running to replace Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak. In a field so crowded, how can a little-known candidate stand out? By running what may become the viral Web ad of the year.

That’s the approach Jeffrey Alan Wagner is taking. The Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party candidate offers this bizarre rant, fresh from taking a swim. “I’m cool with making $100,000 a year. I will not take money from the developers. I will not take money from the political angle. I will not even go to the strip clubs anymore. Wake the f*** up!”

Well, good to know.
