It’s not legalization, but D.C.’s pot bill comes close

A pot decriminalization bill in the nation’s capitol has cleared the D.C. council and is expected to become law. Along with the District’s legalization of medical marijuana, this would make D.C. the most lenient place for pot in the United States, except for Washington and Colorado.
