Redskins defensive line looked good against Steelers

(Patrick Semansky - AP)
The Redskins defensive line looked strong and stout Friday night. We were able to get a glimpse of how talented Barry Cofield and Stephen Bowen are, as they were in on several big plays against the Steelers.

I’m not surprised at all with the success those guys had and, just as I suspected, Jim Haslett did offset the nost tackle, at times shading him to the strong side of the offensive front.

These men pushed the line of scrimmage and created holes for the linebackers to run through and disrupt plays.

I don’t know what the future holds but I do know that if this starting front can stay healthy and grow together it could end up making things very interesting around here.

Can’t read too much into their superior performance just yet, but again it’s much easier to talk about how this front looked good as opposed to talking about how bad they looked.
