A female FBI head?; Ron Kirk’s new job; and the White House egg roll rolls on (read-this roundup)

April 1, 2013

Here’s what the Loop is reading Monday:

— White House counterterrorism adviser Lisa Monaco is being considered for the job of FBI director. If she lands the job, she’d be the first woman to head the agency.

— Former USTR chief Ron Kirk is joining law firm Gibson Dunn, and will be working from the company's Washington and Dallas offices, the FT says.

— Headed to the White House egg roll today? Thank the corporate sponsors for the event — and don’t forget to be nice to the guy in the bunny suit (it’s a tougher gig than you might think.)
