FCC chair resigns; Bachmann gets literal; Obama’s monumental moves (read-this roundup)

FCC Chair Julius Genachowski is resigning. (Andrew Harrer - Bloomberg)
Here’s what the Loop is reading Friday:

Hold the phone — And... scene. As expected, FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski announced he’s stepping down.

Killer rhetoric — The latest abuser of the word ‘literally’ is Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.). She says Obamacare “literally” kills people — and that’s bad. “Let’s “love people,” she says.

Monumental move — President Obama invokes the Antiquities Act to establish five new national monuments.

Congress to pot? — A medical marijuana dispensary is opening just blocks from the Capitol.
