Lisa Jackson’s e-mail probed; Sen. Kerry’s secret weapon; and Eric Cantor accepts second fiddle (read-this roundup)

Here’s what the Loop is reading Wednesday:

You’ve got mail — We report Wednesday that EPA administrator Lisa Jackson is mulling a move to the ivory tower — and it looks like she’ll face questions as she heads for the door: Congressional Republicans want to know more about an e-mail account Jackson maintained under a pseudonym (a combination of her hometown and her family dog’s name).

Kerry’s secret weapon — “He will bore our enemies to death.” — Jay Leno, on Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) as a potential Secretary of State.

Best supporting actor — House Majority Leader Eric Cantor finally embraces his second-fiddle status behind House Speaker John Boehner. One sign: No more weekly news briefings, which ”often resulted in a day of Cantor headlines.”

Small-screen prez — NBC’s debut of “1600,” the goofy show about a First Family, got a “respectable” number of eyeballs.
