Here’s what the Loop is reading this morning:

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright shows off her skills.

Mass-ively ugly — The gloves are off in Massachusetts, where our colleague Karen Tumulty reports that the Senate race is getting nasty. Republican Sen. Scott Brown is fanning the flames of the “Fauxcahontas flap”over a past claim by his challenger, Elizabeth Warren, that she was of Native American heritage. He’s also questioned “the size of her Harvard salary” and refers to her derisively as “Professor Warren.”
Hidden talent — Has Madeleine Albright found a second career? The former Secretary of State recently took to the Kennedy Center stage, putting in an impressive performance behind a drumset.
Kissing the rings? — The road to the White House apparently runs directly through the set of “The View.” The Obamas are making their first joint appearance on the all-ladies gabfest (the President has been on five previous times solo and the First Lady four times herself). And after dissing the venue in a caught-on-tape remarks, Mitt Romney’s going in for a sit-down in the lion’s den next month.
