Can’t think of what to get mom for Mother’s Day? If you’re one of House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi’s five kids, you don’t have to worry. She’s not even going to be in the country.

Pelosi and four other women House members landed in Qatar Friday to spend the weekend with U.S. troops in the region. This is Pelosi’s fourth annual Mother’s Day trip to hang out with the troops — and specifically mothers serving in the Armed Forces who won’t be home with their kids.

Others in the congressional delegation are Reps. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.), Jean Schmidt (R-Ohio), Anna Eshoo (D-Calif.), and Terri Sewell (D-Ala.). They’ll be back early next week.
