Here’s what the Loop is reading Monday morning:

Answer man — We have questions, our colleague Dan Balz has answers. He identifies and breaks down eight essential questions about the 100 days leading to the presidential election.

Girl power Teenage girls are petitioning to have a woman moderate one of the presidential debates, and their minds aren’t on Rihanna or Katy Perry: on their short list are Christiane Amanpour, Rachel Maddow, Katie Couric, Leslie Stahl, Diane Sawyer and Gwen Ifill.

We want stripes! — And speaking of petitions, there’s a movement to bring back the Senate’s Seersucker Thursday, a tradition leaders jettisoned for fear of looking frivolous in these Serious Times.

Joining the fight — Rep. Dave Camp is fighting non-Hodgkins lymphoma, a highly treatable form of cancer, the Michigan Republican has disclosed. He plans to stay in Congress during his treatment.
