The campaigns are gearing up for the home stretch. (Kathleen Galligan - AP) Here’s what the Loop is reading Monday morning:

Answer man — We have questions, our colleague Dan Balz has answers. He identifies and breaks down eight essential questions about the 100 days leading to the presidential election.

Girl power — Teenage girls are petitioning to have a woman moderate one of the presidential debates, and their minds aren’t on Rihanna or Katy Perry: on their short list are Christiane Amanpour, Rachel Maddow, Katie Couric, Leslie Stahl, Diane Sawyer and Gwen Ifill.

We want stripes! — And speaking of petitions, there’s a movement to bring back the Senate’s Seersucker Thursday, a tradition leaders jettisoned for fear of looking frivolous in these Serious Times.

Joining the fight — Rep. Dave Camp is fighting non-Hodgkins lymphoma, a highly treatable form of cancer, the Michigan Republican has disclosed. He plans to stay in Congress during his treatment.
