As we reported Sunday, actress Robin Wright was quite pleased with herself, boasting how she didn’t give “straight answers” to innocuous questions a Washington Post reporter asked her ahead of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Inside the Hilton ladies bathroom, Wright told another Post reporter that she had made “your girls” “so mad” when they attempted to interview her, and that it was “so funny.” She alleged they wanted her to answer “conservative questions.”

We were so curious how this interview actually went down, and as luck would have it, there’s video. Her responses may seem nothing more than a little odd or off-putting until her bathroom explanation that she was intentionally being uncooperative.

Robin Wright, who plays the steely Claire Underwood on Netflix's "House of Cards," tells The Reliable Source's Helena Andrews that she came to the White House correspondents' dinner on a mission. (JulieAnn McKellogg/The Washington Post)
