Siemen’s Eric Spiegel on a stronger STEM pipeline

The Washington Post’s Mary Jordan talked to CEOs about how critical a stronger STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) pipeline is to their companies. Eric Spiegel, president and CEO of Siemens Corp. said at the STEMconnector forum that manufacturing jobs are more and more sophisticated and high-paying. Think a worker “armed with an iPad” on the plant floor, he said.
