1 of 1 | As we pulled into Omaha, Nebraska after many days in mostly rural areas, we were awed by the giant sculpture of a swimmer on display in front of the Mutual of Omaha building downtown. The huge figure was erected to commemorate the U.S. Olympic swim trials held there in late June. In a way we were just as struck by crowds of people milling around as we realized that we hadn't been around crowds very much in quite some time. After making a few photos we dashed to the nearest restaurant the featured fresh greens which had not been an option for a while. (Michael S. Williamson/The Washington Post)
