Ranchers weigh consequences of Keystone XL

By Michael S. Williamson July 27, 2012

1 of 10 | Rancher John Harter (driving the area on his land where the pipeline would go) recently lost his eminent domain case. The route of the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline involves some ranchers who have made deals for the pipeline to cross their property and others who have hesitated. Still others will have no choice as they have lost their eminent domain cases. (Michael S. Williamson/The Washington Post)
