Practice Patience When Teaching Teens to Drive

Kids grow up so fast don't they? Before you know it, they'll be driving. That's why it's important for parents to start preparing their teens before it comes time for them to get for their learner's permit. Offer real-world pointers while driving with your teen, like slowing down when a traffic signal turns yellow; lead by example by avoiding bad driving habits yourself, such as using a smartphone; and ensure your teen has a clear understanding of both the law's and your requirements.
