High school state championships, NCAA final four, Bowl Championship games, Stanley cup playoffs and the Super Bowl.
Over my career I’ve photographed a lot of big games, but I’ve never photographed arguably the biggest: the Olympics.
It’s going to be a lot of long days, hard work and tons of fun. Sports are a beautiful thing, full of raw energy and emotion. This is make or break for so many of these athletes. I only hope my pictures do them justice.
Along with the photographs I’ll be taking with my regular gear, I’ll be experimenting with Instagram to capture some of the behind-the-scenes moments at the games. Some of the reporters here with me in London will do the same. Watch this space for our work.
