Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) will return to the Sunday talk-show circuit this weekend with an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” according to O’Malley’s camp.
O’Malley, the chairman of the Democratic Governors Association, is booked to talk to host Candy Crowley about the economy and the 2012 elections, an aide said.
In an interview Friday, O’Malley said he also expects to be asked about a measure on the ballot Tuesday in Ohio related to collective bargaining. The DGA has weighed in on the issue on the side of labor unions.
The appearance will be O’Malley’s first on a Sunday talk show since early last month, when he squared off against Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour (R) on “Face the Nation” on CBS.
