Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, whose national profile has grown as chairman of the Democratic Governors Association, is about to make his debut on the Sunday morning talk-show circuit.
O’Malley (D) has been booked as a guest Sunday on “This Week” on ABC News.
He is scheduled to talk about “what can be done to improve the economic outlook going forward” with Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), the ranking member of the Senate budget committee, according to a “This Week” promotion.
Since becoming DGA chairman in December, O’Malley has been outspoken in media interviews and at party dinners about the differences he sees between how Democrats and Republicans govern.
