Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) is booked Sunday morning on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” where he is scheduled to appear with Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour (R).

The two will be “talking politics,” according to a promotional video of the show with host Bob Schieffer.

The scheduled appearance is the latest national exposure for O’Malley, whose profile has risen considerably since he was named chairman of the Democratic Governors Association in December.

Barbour is a former chairman of the Republican Governors Association. Both the RGA and DGA work to elect members of their party to governorships across the country.

Other recent appearances by O’Malley on national TV include CNN’s “State of the Union,” NBC’s “Meet the Press” and MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
