Power outage shuts down Prince George’s school

Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School in Beltsville was dismissed at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday after a sudden power outage. About 700 students attend the school.

Prince George’s schools have had a rough beginning of the school year. Many were closed for at least two days in the wake of the 5.8 earthquake that struck in August.
