Tomorrow, the Post’s Michael E. Ruane notes, comes the traditional prediction of cherry blossom season: “But this time is different. [Horticulturist Robert DeFeo]’s prediction will mark the unofficial kickoff of the centennial celebration of the revered cherry blossoms — first planted on the Tidal Basin 100 years ago this month.”
