D.C. hunger strikes: Not just for voting rights anymore. Lawyers told Superior Court Judge Russell F. Canan today that accused wife-killer Albrecht Gero Muth is hospitalized after engaging in a hunger strike for nearly two months. Keith Alexander reports: “Canan said he will revisit whether Muth is able to represent himself. A hearing will be scheduled next week to determine whether Muth is mentally and physically fit to act in his own defense.”
