Good news for D.C.’s current gun laws: A federal appeals court said today that they, for the most part, pass constitutional muster under the Supreme Court’s 2008 Heller ruling. In a 2-1 ruling, the court held that the city can indeed require handgun registration and ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Dick Heller must not be pleased.
