DeEvening Links: How long is too long?

Do you really want to send these nice old folks home? (Linda Davidson - THE WASHINGTON POST)
So how long can you “Occupy D.C.,” really? In the mail today, Gary Imhoff suggests the protesting will last only until the first cold snap: “It will be finished off by cold weather, the winter winds that whip down Pennsylvania Avenue and blow across Freedom Plaza, and snow storms.” And the folks who own buildings around Freedom Plaza and McPherson Square are wondering if they can wait even that long. Richard Bradley, executive director of the Downtown BID, tells the Post’s Jonathan O’Connell that the demonstrations can’t go on forever. “We really want to know what the definition of ‘temporary’ is,” he said, adding: “Is there ever a line that gets drawn?”
