DeEvening Links: Security lapse

This building’s a little leaky. (Jonathan Newton - THE WASHINGTON POST)
And I thought the security at the John A. Wilson Building was a little overzealous. Tim Craig reports at D.C. Wire on a city memo revealing that undercover officers “have repeatedly sneaked simulated bombs into high-profile District government buildings,” including the Wilson Building. The memo was obtained by the Service Employees Internatonal Union, which is trying to oust the city’s current security contractor.

In other news:

Spend a little more, get a better cab (Post, TBD, DCist)

D.C. man who was unconstitutionally searched still didn’t have the right to hit that officer (Legal Times)

Lincoln Theatre will show “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” (DCmud)

Old media blight (GGW)

Forget “Fun Street.” It’s “Fashion Street” now. (Housing Complex)
