It appears that at least this chapter of Harry Thomas Jr.’s political life is coming to a close. The Post reports today that his attorneys are in heavy plea bargain talks with federal prosecutors. Nikita Stewart reports that “a deal could be reached later this week or next week. But there are still sharp disagreements over what charges Thomas would plead guilty to. Thomas does not want to plead guilty to stealing city funds.”He did not attend today’s D.C. Council meeting.
