A particularly tantalizing piece of political gossip these past few months had former mayor Anthony A. Williams (D) pondering a return to the political scene. Turns out that true, but he won’t be seeking his old job. The Post’s Nikita Stewart reports that Williams will replace John Hill as CEO of the Federal City Council, the shadowy and powerful group of city business leaders.
