Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton’s run-in with a D.C. police cruiser last July puts her in an unusual position today. Loose Lips reports that Norton’s insurance company sued the city in her name to recover the $5,800 in repairs. Do know that the “warrior on the Hill” does not want Allstate being a warrior in the courtroom. A spokesman tells Alan Suderman that Norton “advised [Allstate] not to sue” and “has been assured that [the suit] will be withdrawn.”
