The latest must-have accessory in D.C. Superior Court rooms? Glasses. Big, plastic, hipster-y glasses. They’re particularly favored by criminal defendants, Keith Alexander reports in the Post — including the suspects now under trial in connection with the 2010 South Capitol Street shootings. They subscribe to this theory, as expressed by a jury consultant: “If you’re wearing glasses, you don’t look like what people might expect a criminal to look like.”
